OOM: don't let your daughters grow up to be cowgirls...
[Sometime after this...]
Sure, so there's nothing suggesting foul play about this strange place. But Kate still don't like it, and after the scouting mission she went on with her new friend, they found it was far more horrible than they could have imagined. A kitchen, truly vast, filled with so much food — and sweets. An icebox full of fruit and jams and jellies, cakes, pies, and ice cream. More food than a thousand people could eat in a thousand days! Natasha and Katherine knew what they had to do.
"Listen up!"
(They had their tea, weighed their options, and drew their maps and plans in detail. X's marked the places where the food and drinks were kept, question marks swirled over the Magical Bar, and dashes detailed an escape route out the back door toward the forest. Nobody would ever catch them, and there were more than enough other children to pull it off. They just had to convince them their mission was just.)
"The plan is simple. While the adults ain't looking, we clear out the cupboards. Nobody knows who's in charge here; ain't none of us have seen our mamas an' papas. Ain't you tired of not knowin' what's goin' on? Of havin' to ask? Of adults tellin' us no sweets 'cuz they'll rot our teeth? We just want our fair share, an' we want it for every one of us! Why do they get t'keep it all locked up?"
She nods to Natasha.

She nods to Natasha.

And it's pandemonium.
She's seen this happen before in her nickel books. The law is closing in, dust on the horizon, the job is going up in smoke. Kate's eyes grow three times their normal size, and all she can think to do is shout the signal.
"HI-HO, SILVER, AWAAAAAY!"
Thank you, Tommy, for the introduction to the Lone Ranger.
Kate grabs as many tubs of ice cream as she can manage while the other girls see to their prisoner, or their bounties, or just run around screaming. It's hard to tell who's doing what right now.
(But she vaguely notices someone running to shut off the geysers behind the Bar.)
"To the hideout, gals! C'mon, c'mon!"

She still shouts in Japanese as she runs past, "For death and honor!!" Someone's been watching too many samurai cartoons, but really, it's hard to say whether her shouting that is more frightening, or her laughing at it.

She finds some courage, though, from her new friends and allies around her. Even the boy beneath her. She climbs off of him and seizes the boy under one arm to lever him to his feet.
"C'mon!"

"Geronimo!" She yells out, caught in Noriko's spirit, though she has no idea what the girl really said.

Tommy didn't say anything in particular, that was just an angry grunt.
He gets up, his hands tied behind his back. If only he could spit that damn towel out, he could yell for help. Then again, the girls might dump melted ice cream down his pants.
With no other choice, and growling and grumbling all the way, he follows the girls as they drag him along.

Marian dashes back for her pies, loading up her arms with carefully stacked pastry topped metal tins, arguing with balance when she should put down her makeshift sword but she doesn't want to. It'll be cumbersome, but she's keeping it all. Hugging the pies and ladle to her and dashing for the door, dedicated to making it through the mele without getting snagged by an adult.

She lingers until every girl is safely out with their goods. A captain goes down with his ship, and a good gang leader makes sure every man gets out alive. Everybody knows that. Soon enough the clamoring is muffled by grass underfoot, and Kate flees from the annoyance and befuddlement of the older children.
She'll congratulate Natasha on a job well done once they're all reunited in the hideout. For now, she whoops and hollers and laughs, following apace her merry thieves.
[ooc: and that's a wrap! party post will be up shortly. ^__^]
