Her stomach jumps at the contact, and he might be able to feel the slight tremble of her body beneath his touch.
"Ain't f-fair, you robbin' a lady of her victory, either," she breathes, eyes shyly, but unfalteringly, meeting his gaze.
She searches him out right back.
"Whatcha thinkin'?" she whispers.
