"I would've brought dessert but I didn't have enough hands for another dish," he murmurs with a slight chuckle before draining his glass of water and wiping the corners of his mouth with a napkin.

He sets his utensils aside and covers his empty plate. He'll take the dishes back downstairs when he leaves in the morning.

Standing up, he stretches, full and satisfied.
