In answer to his questions, she slowly shakes her head, leaving it at that as he continues. It's not all she wants to know, but they have to start somewhere.

His closing comment gives her pause.



"Because I'm from a different time."

It's half question, but after what he just said about the gap between them she jumps to the most reasonable conclusion.
